Through our work, we come across individuals and organisations that need support but don’t have a strong enough voice to reach the people who can help them.

At Tin Roof Foundation, we Speak Up on behalf of people doing great work with a small budget, low visibility or not enough manpower. This inspires people to learn more and add their support.

Our experience and skills allow us to vet potential partners and assess what their needs are. We are then able to use our networks to share information about them and get their message where it needs to go.

Africa Cancer Foundation creates awareness about different cancers. Between 2014 and 2016, they were raising funds Mikkel andMerlyn, 2 children who needed treatment for cancer.

Tin Roof Foundation decided to speak up about the fundraising and raised around Ksh700,000 for Mikkel and Merlyn through a project named Team M2.

Part of this initiative involved bringing together photographers who donated pieces of their work for sale. Village Market and Junction malls partnered with us by giving us space to display the photographs and raise awareness of Africa Cancer Foundation’s work and the needs of Mikkel and Merlyn.
